May I suggest 15 gentle minutes to get the gearbox oil up to temp. THEN give it death down to half a tank and park up, just saying

Indeed, but their idea of a chassis, as recall going round the assembly plant (hardly a factory) is a door frame steel angle iron affair, hit a corner and watch the wheel alignment go berserk.

Not sure whether to go for Elite or Driving Master - they both cost £795 for a day and then £495 for test! ( bazinga! ) I couldn't see anywhere if they provide a suitable car, but I suspect you have to bring your own. It's made me dig out my "Paul Ripley's Expert Driving" for a read again...
