It is the AA's version of a Roadcraft based test. Instead of Gold, Silver and Bronze there are 5 star, 4 star etc. It is very difficult to say that 5 star is similar to Gold etc, but that's the idea. I suspect that where hotels get away with it is when the service is a complementary service and thus there is no direct charge specifically for the transportation - so the transportation is not being done for reward as the same charge is being made to the punter regardless of whether or not they ar...
