The dumbing down of SatNav features continues. Bluetooth out was on some car models and most had 3.5mm audio jack that you could connect a cheap Bluetooth transmitter or wired headphones.
Explains why the bike ones are so damn expensive. As well as being waterproof they allow preplanned routes from a PC, as well as having numerous connection facilities ... although my new one has 3.5mm jack, using it makes the unit no longer waterproof, hence my adventures into the Bluetooth world. A standard that is anything but standard!
